Inclement Weather

We will follow the Jefferson County Public Schools' decision on closing and delays do to inclement weather.

In case of adverse weather, the following Radio/TV stations will carry news of school closings: WXVA gives the most frequent school closings, so we encourage you to listen to that station.

Also, you may call the school at 304-725-1438. In the event of a late opening or school closing, the school’s voice mail message will be changed as soon as possible to reflect this information. The school's website will also carry news of any closings.

The school office does try to contact every parent in the event of an early school dismissal. We do ask that you assist us by notifying the office of your whereabouts (if you are not going to be where you normally are) on days that the weather looks questionable.
