DONATIONS: Tuition fees alone do not cover the cost of a child's education for the year. Like all independent educational institutions, The Country Day School depends on the generosity of parents, alumni, friends, businesses and foundations. The yearly auction and annual giving funds are the primary sources for this extra funding. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, all contributions to the school are tax deductible.

The Country Day School does not guarantee parental/guardian requests for assignment of students to a particular teacher. Instead, students are assigned after careful assessment of the student's needs and our ability to meet them. This assignment is made by the Head of School after evaluating recommendations, prior academic performance, and social development. The Country Day School strives to balance classrooms with regard to issues of diversity. Collectively, we believe these considerations allow us to place each child in an environment that stimulates his/her development.
